Our Qualifications

Mike Gary ChFC^®, AIF^®, FSCP^TM earned his Bachelor's Degree in Management with an emphasis on Finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He has been a financial professional since 1991 and with Principal® Financial Network for over 33 years. He holds his FINRA Series 6, FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 63 and FINRA Series 65 securities registrations and Iowa Life and Health Insurance license. 

Mike Walsh AIF^® earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Iowa. He has been with the Principal® Financial Network since 2012. He holds his FINRA Series 6, FINRA Series 63 and FINRA Series 65 securities registrations and Iowa Life and Health Insurance license.  He is actively engaged with the University of Iowa Alumni Association. 

We are both members of NAIFA - Cedar Rapids (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and have been working with individuals and businesses in eastern Iowa for many years.
